As mentioned previously, the city of Port Vila isn't particular pretty. There is good (cheap) shopping though. Erica, Ethan, Mum and I headed into the city to do some shopping. David 'sacrificed' by staying back on the boat with Clara, so she could have a nap. He was very happy to lie in bed watching movies rather than go shopping.
Erica had a great time because she bought souvenirs for her teachers and friends and also had her hair braided. Mum was also able to pick up some cute souvenirs. I enjoyed having a walk and a bit of a look around. The best part I think though was taking the water taxi - which cost more than all of the items we bought in the town ha!

Not sure what Erica is doing here. This was as we were leaving the cruise ship area on the water taxi.
We went past a number of boats that had been washed ashore during Cyclone Pam (last year).
It started to rain, so Erica hopped inside the front of the boat :)
Erica on the top deck of the cruise ship looking out towards Port Vila. Note the newly braided hair.
