Because Easter occurred a couple of months ago, I can't quite remember all of the details now. I'm going to go from the pictures which seem to indicate we had a fun time. Thank goodness Mum had visited a short-time before and brought us supplies, because there aren't a lot of Easter eggs available for purchase in Shanghai. The ones you can find are expensive. There were Christmas trees, decorations and Santas galore in December, but Easter doesn't seem to register on the Chinese radar at all. That's ok. We have picked up a bunch of new things to celebrate such as Chinese New Year, Tomb Sweeping Day and Dragon Boat Festival. The more festivals and holidays the better (I think).
Here is Clara with her eggs mid-hunt. She was the only person who would stop properly and pose for me.
Ethan with his eggs. No more room left in that basket. He gets a handicap.
Erica with her eggs. Still hunting.
All of the kids together.
Hot cross buns. I brought my bread maker here to China, so I can still whip up a batch of these no problem.
