Our guide asked if we would like to see water buffalo. We said "sure", thinking this meant that if we saw one somewhere on the side of the road we would stop and take a look. Actually it meant that she organised for all of the water buffalo from a village to be gathered together in a field, so we could 'meet' them.
Erica wasn't so sure initially.
This is the lady who went from house to house in her village gathering all of the water buffalo and then walked them through those hills (in the background of this shot) to this field. She also kindly shared with us a snack of dried sweet potato that she had prepared herself.
Erica becoming a little more brave.
Clara not standing still for a shot.
Nice close-ish picture.
Clara's feet after we had finished walking around in the field.
