On our way back from Australia we spent some time in Hong Kong. David and I have been to Hong Kong in the past, but the kids have not visited. Hong Kong has a lot for children to do, so we thought they would enjoy spending time there. It worked well because David and I have already visited the attractions that hold more interest for adults, such as museums, temples and monasteries. Not that the kids don't like these types of attractions, but they have seen plenty during our time living in China and are less thrilled by them now. We were able to just focus on the kid-friendly outings, such as Disneyland and Ocean Park. We all now kind of adore Hong Kong.
The views from our hotel windows. Definitely not in Australia anymore.
I can't remember the name of this store, but it had lots of really cute confectionery items - such as the marshmallow handbags above.
Checking out the view from The Peak.
There were some art installations featuring sea creatures near a ferry stop. The kids thought this giant shark was pretty awesome.
A view of Central from across the harbour in Kowloon. We rode on that ferris wheel to the left of the picture.
