Lady Musgrave Island

We went on a day-trip to Lady Musgrave island.  It involved a tour of the island and some snorkelling.  We had fun.  I wouldn't say it is my top pick of Great Barrier Reef locations though.

Lady Musgrave Island.

Low tide.

The sand was full of coral and shells.

We had to take a picture and say goodbye to Clara's collection of shells and coral.  You can't remove anything from the island.  She was a little sad to leave them behind.

Spotting a clam shell through the bottom of the glass-bottom boat.

Saying goodbye to Lady Musgrave island.  Clara hopped into the water for a while during the snorkelling.  It was quite cold, so she only stayed in for a short while.  We saw some turtles.  The coral and fish were ok, but not the best around.  We thought that the snorkelling on the reef further North was better.
