Boracay Water Park

The Boracay Water Park is literally a park on the water.  There are inflatable slides, climbing apparatus and a trampoline.  The kids had a GREAT time.  We also lucked out, as we were the only people there for our visit!

Getting there was a bit of an ordeal.  We had to get transport to another beach, and from there we were transported to yet another beach, and then from there we sailed in a boat out to the water park.  Maybe this is why we were the only people there.

Ethan had jumped from the top part of the slide onto that giant pillow.  He positioned himself at the end and then one of the Filipino men jumped onto the end of the other pillow, launching Ethan into the air.

Clara spent some time climbing, jumping and sliding, but she became tired and so returned to the 'spectator' raft with me..

While we were watching Ethan and Erica, one of the workers dove into the water and emerged with a starfish!  The raft was sitting over the top of a coral reef.  If we had thought about it we could have brought our snorkelling gear.

The same man then went back into the water and emerged again with another starfish!  Clara loved it!  

Clara sitting with her pets.  We also picked-up a coconut floating past, which was Clara's third pet.  We returned the starfish to the sea before we left.

Clara went back for some more climbing at the end, but had a fall.  When you see some pictures of her wearing a bandaid on her forehead that is why.  She scraped her head against a rope.
