Erica loves art. Here is one of her drawings.
Erica has been learning the flute. This is the year five band concert. At Erica's school all year 3 children learn a string instrument and all year 5 children learn a brass, woodwind or percussion instrument. Erica is sitting on the end of the front row. Erica is doing really well with her instrument. She has also been learning piano in music lessons at school and plays at home.

Erica recently participated in her school musical. Erica played an old lady. She had a great time (as always). There are some movies from the musical at the end of this blog post.
Erica recently received an award at school. Erica's award was for kindness.
This is Erica and her best friend. Erica's best friend's mother sent me this picture. The girls wanted to make some money, so they set-up a hot chocolate stall. They are sitting out in a busy area of our suburb. They must be excellent sales women because they ended up making 70yuan (about $14) each.
On the last day of school before Christmas break, Erica was allowed to come home early. She made good use of her spare afternoon by snuggling up on the couch under a blanket and watching a movie.

Our branch does a One Night in Bethlehem production as a missionary activity at Christmas. Erica has appeared as an angel for the last two years. This year I was able to get a recording of the angels singing..
