Shanghai Wildlife Park

We decided to visit Shanghai Wildlife Park while the kids were on school holidays.  The Chinese children were still in school, so it was a perfect time to visit.  We spent a fun afternoon walking around and checking out the animals.

Clara was initially ok with the bird on her shoulder, then quickly changed her mind :)

Ethan petting a baby tiger.  I somehow feel that this wouldn't be an option at a western zoo.  We were able to do it for an extra fee of 30rmb ($6).

We fulfilled one of Erica's bucket-list items - to see a panda.  We also hope to be able to take her to Chengdu where the large panda breeding base is located.

Just a pretty spot.

On Lemur Island.  The Lemurs roam free on the island and you can walk around with them.
