Linh Ung Pagoda

Linh Ung Pagoda is perched on a hillside beside the ocean, overlooking the city of Da Nang.  Da Nang is Vietnam's third largest city.  Historically it is of some significance for being the location of China Beach (where American troops went for R&R) during the Vietnam War.

The most famous landmark at Linh Ung Pagoda is Lady Buddha.  She is 67m high and can be seen along all of Da Nang's beaches.

I'm not entirely sure of the significance of these statues, but the kids (and other kids) sure had fun playing with them.
