This beach was right out the front of our hotel. During the Vietnam War this was the location of China Beach. It had been a while since we had been to a beach with waves (albeit pretty small waves). David even tried to rent a surfboard, but it proved to be a little difficult. You can see The Lady Buddha statue in the distance - it looks like a lighthouse towards the left of the picture.
Completely fine to ride your motorbike along the beach in Vietnam.
