Clara riding to school. Clara has a balance bike, a big bike, a scooter and a pram. She chooses one of those each morning to get herself to school. She never chooses to walk. Wearing her mask because the AQI was a little high. She is pretty good about wearing her mask, but does sometimes think it is funny to wear it over her eyes or on her chin :)

Clara has desperately wanted to buy a balloon. There are different vendors who set-up outside the school gate at the end of each school-day. The vendors change around from day-to-day. There is a sweet potato man, strawberry lady (when in season), a toy man, a flower lady and a balloon lady. Clara's favourite by far is the balloon lady. Clara had been begging me for a balloon. I explained that she would need to earn money to buy her own balloon. She did this and was able to buy her own Peppa Pig balloon the following week.
The next day this happened :( We couldn't get it back down, but it started snowing so the balloon was soon forgotten.
This is my attempt at decorating for Australia Day - yellow flowers. There aren't a lot (any) of options for Australian decorations here. We now have our Chinese New Year decorations up - there are lots of those available!
