Amber Fort was quite an amazing complex. Very beautiful and interesting. It even reminded us of The Great Wall of China in parts!
Travelling up the hill by elephant. I had read that these elephants are only allowed to do a limited number of trips per day and work only in the mornings until a certain time, so I hoped they were being treated well.

Seeing the wall running on top of the hill reminded us of The Great Wall of China. It extends a fair way.
We also visited a nearby step well. Clara is running after some goats to get a closer look.

Erica joined us for the visit to Amber Fort, mostly at the insistence of David and myself, because we thought she would like to have the experience. However, she looked miserable and coughed up a lot of phlegm, so we then decided to just let her rest and heal. Erica was ok with this because although she missed out on some cool outings in India, she had the Disney channel in the hotel :)
