We were lucky enough to have a visit from Nan during March. She came along with me to the ASIA Women's Conference in Hong Kong and then helped (a lot!) with the kids when I became ill.
Hanging out with the girls.
Playing with Nan's phone.
A visit to Jump 360 - the most amazing trampoline place we have ever seen.
The Church building in Hong Kong. We stayed around the corner and walked here each day for the conference. Every year there is a conference for the LDS sisters living in Asia. https://www.asiawomensconference.org/
Mum sewing up a storm for the 'Days for Girls' service project. With my lesser sewing skills I was on a different station hand-stitching labels onto bags.
The group of women from China who attended the conference. I'm in there towards the back on the left-hand side.
All the ladies. Mum is in the back row. I am in the middle towards the left.
As Mum had never visited Hong Kong we spent some days prior to the conference seeing some of the sites..
We travelled up to The Peak via the Peak Tram and watched as the lights switched on in the city below.
We caught a ferry across the harbour to Kowloon and enjoyed the skyline view of Hong Kong island.
We went on a walking tour of Central. The above picture is of Man Mo temple.
We caught a tram.
We ate egg tarts. Delicious!
Shopping, without any time to actually shop. This was on the walking tour. We were shown places to shop, but instructed 'no time to shop'.
Hong Kong Times Square.
And of course a visit to the temple.
