Erica spent a year learning the flute. She had a bit of a rocky start, but then ended up loving it and became quite good. She wants to continue learning. At our new school the instrumental program starts up next year, so hopefully she will be able to restart soon with her flute. We have tried to find a tutor here, but flute doesn't seem to be such a popular instrument in India, so we haven't been able to track down a good option.
Erica auditioned for the opportunity to represent her school at the MADD festival in Beijing. Above she is waiting with some of her friends on the morning that they departed.
