This area of Chengdu has a very similar feel to Yuyuan area in Shanghai, except we felt that the gardens were nicer than the Yuyuan Gardens.
The towering bamboo was awesome.
There is a pedestrian market street just outside of the gardens, with lots of snacks available. The girls picked up some pretty fairy floss.
Most of the snacks look more like this. They probably taste good, but I never did try.
