I think we have now added another celebration to our schedule - Diwali!
Here is a description of the meaning behind Diwali from wikipedia "One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, Diwali symbolises the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance". It is a huge celebration in India and we had fun joining in!

Luckily for us we are up high in our apartment, so we were able to enjoy the fireworks from our family room.
