While we were in Abu Dhabi we went on a trip to the desert. This is another must-do if you are in the area. Definitely a favourite of our family. We were initially taken on a crazy four-wheel driving adventure through the dunes. This made me feel sick, but everybody else loved it. Then we were taken to a camp for sandboarding, eating and entertainment.

Ethan couldn't get around too much on the sand, but was cleared for joining us in the 4WD as long as he had his boot on. He was glad to be able to join in.

Erica sandboarding (her shirt kept getting pushed up by falling onto the sand). It didn't take Erica long to figure out how to stay up-right on the board and by the end she could ride from the top of the dune to the bottom. She loved it so much that she kept going until it was dark.
