Emirates Palace is a 7 star hotel in Abu Dhabi. Technically really 5 star, because 7 star isn't a real thing. I think it is also the most expensive hotel in the world (in terms of cost to build). We didn't stay here, but dropped by to have a look.
It was beautiful and nice for a short visit, but wasn't overly fascinating. Interestingly the room rates are not as stratospheric as you might expect (not cheap though either!).
