The Japanese Peace Pagoda at Unawatuna. It was built by a group of Japanese monks, who have been building peace temples in conflict zones. There are beautiful views over Galle.

In Galle. This city used to be a trading port. There is a lot of old Dutch architecture. It was a fun place to explore.
Clara finding a new pet. She stood in line so she could have the opportunity to hold the snake! I asked her if she was sure and she told me 'definitely'. She wasn't scared at all. We have had a chat about not touching/picking up snakes she might see around Chennai. Lucky we are in an apartment. The families in houses often have stories about snakes. She is a funny little girl - 0 fear of snakes, but hates it when I turn out all of the lights in her bedroom at night.
In the restaurant where we ate lunch. There was a downpour as we were leaving.
