We went on a boat cruise to see some of the sights of Singapore. Above is the Merlion.
Marina Bay Sands
Marina Bay Sands and The Art Science Museum.
The view from our hotel room. The view was the best part of the room. In the evenings we could see the light show at the Marina Bay Sands.
A Hindu temple reminding us of 'home' in Chennai, in Little India.
A cool tree in a park near our hotel that the girls ran around in. Singapore is so lovely and green.
The price of a box of peaches!! Singapore dollars are fairly close to Australian dollars.
The vortex at the Singapore Airport
The girls in front of the vortex.
Poor Clara sick at a medical centre. She seemed to be improving, but then vomited again. We decided to get her checked by a doctor to determine if she would be ok to fly. The doctor gave her some (actually quite a lot) of medicines and asked her to rest. They cleared her to fly, and there was no more vomiting after that. She slept comfortably on the flight.
The girls at a fun playground. We don't have a lot of these in India, actually none that I have seen. The only playground Clara gets to use is the one at school and occasionally the very small one at a resort down the road.
