Speaking of early-morning loud music (from the previous post).. during Ganesh Chaturthi we were woken every morning around 4/5am by loud music, which continued throughout the day and into the night. This is the only place I have lived where we all keep a set of ear plugs beside the bed. For us it's unpredictable as to when a loud festival or anniversary of a politician/bollywood star's death will occur. Once we were even woken up by a marathon. Somebody was yelling warm-up instructions into a loud speaker at around 4am.
The girls embraced their early morning wake-ups with dance parties.
