Some things from Erica's life lately..
Erica gave her first sacrament talk today and did a sensational job. Her talk was very well-written and she spoke very clearly, which is important when a large proportion of the congregation don't speak English as their first language.
Erica has been called into the Young Women's class presidency. She had her first Bishop Youth Committee Meeting today, where she took charge and organised a Young Women's activity (they are coming to our house to bake cookies).
Erica has been involved with the track and field team at school. Erica has been the alternate for the team. In the end she didn't need to compete, but she spent a couple of months getting up at 5:30am four mornings per week to go train at school.
Erica brought home a fantastic report card, probably her best one ever. As one of her personal development goals she determined to improve her math grade by asking more questions in class. On Erica's end of semester report card she had the top grades for all categories in math. Erica considers that goal accomplished!
