Mysuru Palace is the second-most visited site in India (after the Taj Mahal). It was home to the Maharajah of Mysore (and still is home to the royal family). The ownership of the palace has been in dispute for decades - an ongoing court battle between the royal family and the government.
A band performed while we were there. They were waiting to start.
