From our safari in Udawalawe we made our way slowly towards our next stop in Weligama. We made some stops along the way across the South Coast of Sri Lanka. Our first stop was Tangalle where we visited the War Heroes Monument.
Then we drove to Point Dondra to see the lighthouse..
I think this was one of the coolest-looking lighthouses I have seen in real life.
Then we drove on to Paravi Duwa Temple in Matara. The temple is out on it's own little island. You walk across a bridge to get to the temple.
Later we stopped in Mirissa for lunch and then went to our last stop - the hotel in Weligama.
