Our area in Autumn

We live in an area named Seorae Maeul, otherwise known as the French Village.  Some of the architecture is French-inspired.  There are also a lot of French expats who live in this area and a Lycee Francais school.

We are South of the Han River.  Our area is more modern/newer than parts of Seoul on the North side of the River.  I think the North side has a lot of charm, and many interesting historical sights.  However, I also like the streetscapes and environment of our own area.  The streets are very clean and easy to navigate (an adjustment from our time in India, but I also miss the energy and interest of India).

During Autumn the Gingko trees turned yellow and looked beautiful..
