In the past this was the home of royal families. It has been destroyed a couple of times during Japanese invasions, and rebuilt.
Note the couple in the background wearing Hanbok. You can enter the Palaces for Free in Seoul if you come dressed in traditional clothing. We asked Clara if she would like to wear her Hanbok, but she declined.
When we were part-way through the Secret Garden it started pouring with rain. We had left our umbrella in the car, so we just got soaked. Clara thought it was all fun and jumped in puddles.
More rain fun at home.
