We have been so fortunate to have a few years living in a country with a Cherry Blossom season. Of course, you could visit a country to see the cherry blossoms, but the difficulty is getting the correct timing to see them at their best. The period during which they bloom varies a little each year, and the flowers can be gone within a short period of rain comes along.
It’s been handy to be able to keep an eye on a single Cherry Blossom tree which is visible from our kitchen window. When we judge that the flowers look their best, then we pick a spot with lots of the trees to admire their beauty.
This year David, Nora and I went to the War Cemetery to see the Cherry Blossom flowers in bloom.
