We stayed in a villa that had an open air kitchen, dining and walkways. The pool was right beside the kitchen and dining room. I mention this because while it was sometimes fun and looked pretty, I wouldn’t choose an open air option again. The mosquitos are hard to control, there is no climate control and with a toddler you need to be on high alert.
That green wall was pretty cool. Little birds flew in and out and darted around the plants.
Some birds kept making nests of tissues in the light shades :)
