I had my Birthday while we were in Ubud. Unfortunately David had fallen ill and then Erica followed shortly after.
David had organized for the house staff to prepare an Indonesian meal, and had ordered a special birthday coconut cream pie from a really fantastic cafe in the area. It all turned out great. Myself, Clara and Nora enjoyed it. There were a lot of left overs! It was unfortunate that David and Erica couldn’t join us.
