Ethan and I got up before the light one morning to watch the sunrise at Angkor Wat. It’s for sure the best time to go. The temperature is cooler, and there are less people around.
The camera in my phone didn’t do a great job at capturing the sun rise.
Ethan and I waited out on the grass while the sun came up. Once the complex opened we headed straight in and straight through to the area where you can climb to the highest tower. From there we were able to watch the remainder of the sunrise.
Note how the shadow makes the silhouette of Angkor Wat.
The people coming in as we were heading out.
On our way out we stopped to take some pictures beside one of the reflecting ponds.
Ethan captured some me much better shots of the sunrise.
