Angkor Wat

Clara and Nora are on the left hand side of this picture.  Clara is bending down.

I had seen multiple recommendations to leave Angkor Wat until last in a visit to the Temples of Angkor.   This is due to it being the biggest and most spectacular site.  However, we decided to go there first in case members of the family were not able to continue with us as we did our 3 day visit to various temple sites.   We didn’t want them to miss the best!

Angkor Wat is the world’s largest religious structure.  It’s also the only building featured on a national flag.  The construction involved 300,000 workers and 6000 elephants.

Here are some pictures from our visit..

Fabulous family photos amidst an amazing Temple, although maybe Megan and David should be wearing elephant pants too!
