We took Karen and Carl to visit the Grand Palace and Wat Pho. Magnificent Bangkok sites, but they also happened to be very busy on the day we visited. So much so that there were no guides left and seeing The Emerald Buddha required a slow shuffle shoulder to shoulder with a crowd. However, we still had fun.
