The BYU Ballroom dancers visited Bangkok. We were able to go to their performance, which was fantastic! Clara was also able to bring her friend (also named Clara). Erica was double lucky because the ballroom dancers also did a workshop at her school with the dance students, which included Erica.
Nora with one of the dancers at the end. Nora had been wearing a costume each time we went to a performance. We had gone to a school concert that was movie themed, and everybody was invited to dress in costume. After this, Nora continued to feel that concert = dress ups.
As we were leaving the performance we saw all of the mission posing with the dancers. Fun! It was fun for us too because we were able to catch up with multiple missionaries who had served in our ward, but were now located in other parts of Thailand.
For a Relief Society activity we learnt how to make sour dough bread. Unfortunately we didn’t think to take a picture until right at the end when many people had already left, but you can see all of the Sisters I serve in the Relief Society presidency with in that picture.
I’ve had a few attempts at making sour dough bread at home. It’s a fair bit of work - a long process. My sour dough starter is still alive, so that’s a positive. The bread has been ok. The lady who taught us makes much better bread.
Erica did her final exams for Grade 11 (and she did very well). Here is Nora helping Erica to study..
