We started the day at Alamo Square and seeing the Painted Ladies (the houses behind Clara). Houses like this are in the opening credits for Fuller House, which is a show that Clara likes to watch.
We then went for a walk through Golden Gate Park, and stopped to ride the carousel. Nora picked the rooster.
We grabbed some lunch and the two youngest girls had a play at Koret Children’s Playground. Apparently this was America’s first public playground!
We then rode on the roof of a double-decker bus across The Golden Gate Bridge. This was very cool. We were lucky to score great weather, without any fog.
Clara thinks this picture of herself travelling over the bridge is funny :)
Sweet picture of Ethan and Rachel. Check out the lady to the right. We stopped on the Sausalito side of the bridge and took some pictures. I’ll share those in a different post.
We then headed to China town where we picked up some dim sum. We walked past this LDS meeting house on our way through. Pretty cool!
We visited the fortune cookie museum. We were able to make our own personalised fortune cookies - meaning we wrote our own fortunes, not made the entire cookie. We then headed back to the hotel to eat our Chinese goodies, and bid Rachel farewell before she flew back to Idaho.
